Jessica Fletcher, Mark Sloan and Columbo walk into a wake, there’s no punchline just the most diabolical murder to solve! One which pits them matching wits with non other than the master of deduction – Sherlock Holmes.<\/p>\n

We love the genre so much and we feel there is a big missing hole in today’s entertainment that focuses too much on the blood and guts and not enough on good solid story telling. This is our way of putting something out to the world with a classic feel and adding a twist of humor.\u00a0We want to remind people why these properties were so successful!<\/p>\n

CHARACTER!<\/h1>\n

It’s all about the character, Columbo’s rumpled trench coat, Jessica’s deeply extended family and charming seaside home, Dr. Mark Sloan’s kind-heartedness and extreme attention to detail and who could forget Sherlock’s intelligence and logic!<\/p>\n

Drama is great but without REAL character substance audiences cannot connect to these people in the same enduring way.<\/p>\n

Lieutenant Frank Columbo, played by Peter Faulk, is a shrewd but inelegant\u00a0blue-collar homicide detective whose trademarks include his shambling\u00a0manner, rumpled beige raincoat and off-putting, relentless investigative\u00a0approach. He enjoys hard boiled eggs and chili.<\/p>\n

Mystery writer and amateur sleuth Jessica Fletcher, played by Angela Lansbury, is a down-to-earth, middle-aged widow who uses her intellect, charm and persistence to ferret out the criminals in idyllic Cabot Cove, Maine, which apparently is the murder capital of the United States for the show’s 12-season run. Whilst on her travels, she uncovers a fair number of killers as well.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mark Sloan, played by Dick Van Dyke, has been in medicine for over 40 years and is chief of internal medicine at Community General Hospital and a consultant to LAPD. Becoming a doctor made him the black sheep of the family as he came from “a long line of cops” with his own father, a police detective. He often refers to himself as an amateur sleuth who loves solving mysteries.<\/p>\n

Sherlock Holmes, the ultimate master of deduction. One of the most played roles in history and dripping in elegance. Sarcastic, condescending but ultimately brilliant. Sherlock Holmes fictional private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Referring to himself as a “consulting detective” in the stories, Holmes is known for his proficiency with observation, forensic science, and logical reasoning that borders on the fantastic, which he employs when investigating cases for a wide variety of clients, including\u00a0Scotland Yard.<\/p>\n
